Web design · Cost

Website design cost in Singapore.

What a website costs to build here, and what it costs to keep running once the first year ends. Real figures from a Singapore studio that publishes them, in Singapore dollars, before GST, checked on 31 July 2026.

The build

Four prices, and what decides which one applies.

What moves the figure is what the site has to do: how many pages have to exist, whether you are selling online, and how much of it has to be built rather than assembled.

Brochure site

One or two pages, for a business that needs to be found and taken seriously

S$1,000 one-time
  • One or two pages, designed, written and built
  • First year of hosting, domain, business email and Website Care included
  • Live in one to two weeks

Business site

For a business with more than one thing to explain

S$5,000 starting from
  • Typically five to fifteen pages
  • Adds a staging site, a second business email account and paid plugin licences
  • At least two months from start to launch

E-commerce site

WordPress and WooCommerce, with no limit on pages or products

S$10,000 starting from
  • Everything in the business site, plus a WooCommerce store
  • No limit on how many pages or products
  • At least three months from start to launch

Custom build

Anything with requirements of its own

Quoted on requirements
  • Send the project requirements and we quote against them
  • No bracket, because a number set before we have read your requirements would be a guess

Prices checked 31 July 2026. All figures are in Singapore dollars and exclude GST. The full list of what each build includes is on the web design page. What follows is the other half of the question: what the site costs in the years after it launches.

Year one, then every year after

The first year is included. The second year is not.

Hosting, the domain, your business email and Website Care are all covered for twelve months inside the build price. Then they renew, and they keep renewing. Here is that arithmetic done with the prices published elsewhere on this site.

Build First year Every year after
Brochure site S$1,000 from S$2,580
Business site from S$5,000 about S$2,700
E-commerce site from S$10,000 from S$6,660

The yearly figure is Website Care plus hosting plus the domain, at the prices published on this site. A brochure or business site renews on Website Care at S$200 a month, so S$2,400 of it is care. A store renews on Website Care · E-commerce at S$500 a month, so S$6,000 of it is care. Hosting is from S$120 a year for a brochure site, around S$240 for a business site, and from S$600 for a store, quoted on its size and traffic. The domain is about S$60 a year including DNS management, though the exact figure follows the extension. Your Google Workspace accounts renew on top of all of that, at whatever Workspace costs at the time, which is a Google price rather than ours. Every figure here excludes GST.

The running costs

Where the yearly figure comes from.

Four line items, and only one of them is large. They are worth seeing separately, because they are what the yearly figure is made of, and a one-time build price does not include any of them.

Running cost Brochure and business Store
Website Care S$200 / month S$500 / month
Hosting S$120 to S$240 from S$600
Domain name about S$60 about S$60
Paid plugin licences In the care plan In the care plan

Hosting and the domain are yearly. Website Care is monthly, and it is what covers updates, daily backups, malware scanning, uptime monitoring and the paid plugin licences from our own stack, so those licences are not a separate bill. We do not publish the list of what we license, so if your site needs something outside it we will say so before it is built rather than after. Business email is not in this table because it is Google’s price rather than ours, and Google revises it. Figures exclude GST.

What moves the price

Five things that decide which figure applies to you.

Before you ask anyone for a quote, these are the things that will change it.

How many pages have to exist

A business that needs to be found, look credible and be easy to contact does not need twenty pages. One or two that load fast and say the right thing is the S$1,000 build. Five to fifteen is the S$5,000 one. The count matters less than whether each page has a job.

Whether you are selling online

A store is a different kind of build rather than a bigger version of the same one. Catalogue, delivery, stock and payment all have to be decided and connected, and each of those decisions has consequences after launch as well as during the build.

How ready your side of the content is

Copy is written for you either way. Product data, your own photographs and delivery decisions are your side of the job, and how quickly they arrive is usually what decides whether a build lands on time. On one quoted at one to two weeks, that is felt quickly.

What has to connect to what

Bookings, payment gateways, stock systems, a CRM. Each connection is work, and each one is a thing that has to keep working afterwards. Say which ones you need early, because they shape the build rather than get added to the end of it.

Whether anything is genuinely custom

Most sites are not. When something really does have requirements of its own, it gets quoted against those requirements instead of squeezed into a bracket, and you would be right not to trust a web page that put a number on it in advance.

Not in the price

Costs that are real, and are not ours.

Easier to read here than to discover on an invoice.

GST

Every figure on this page is before GST. When we quote you, the quote says the same thing, so the number you compare against another quote is the same kind of number.

Payment gateway fees

Payment gateways take a cut of what you sell. On a store build we help you choose one and connect it, but what it charges sits outside anything we charge, and it keeps charging long after we are done.

Being found

A website that exists is not a website that ranks. Every build has Google Analytics and Search Console connected, which is the floor rather than a campaign. Ongoing search work is priced separately on the SEO page, and advertising is a budget you set with the platform.

Plugin licences outside our stack

Paid plugins from our own stack are covered under the care plan. We do not publish the list of what that covers, so if your site needs something outside it, we tell you before it is built rather than after.

Images you own outright

The images and video we provide are generated or licensed from stock rather than shot on commission, so they are licensed for use on your site and cannot be resold or put on a product you are selling. If your business needs images it owns outright, that is a different piece of work and worth raising before we start.

How you pay

One payment on a brochure site, three on the larger builds.

A brochure site is paid in full up front. A business or e-commerce build is staged in three: half at the start, 40% when design and development are signed off, and the final 10% at launch. On a staged build most of the money moves while the work is being done, and there is still a payment outstanding on the day the site goes live.

Revisions do not change any of those figures. While design and development are under way there is no limit on how many rounds you ask for, and what they cost you is time: each round pushes the finish date out rather than the price up. On a brochure site quoted at one to two weeks, that is felt quickly.

That window closes when you sign design and development off, and on a staged build that is the same moment the second payment falls due. Signing off is the decision that ends the revisions, not the launch, so it is worth taking your time before that point rather than after it.

Before you compare quotes

Five things any quote should tell you.

Two quotes are only comparable when they answer the same questions. These are the ones that change the total.

What year two costs

The build price is the one-time part of the cost, not the whole of it. Ask what renews, at what rate, and when. Ours is in the table above.

What the first year actually includes

Hosting, the domain, business email and maintenance are either in the price or they are not, and for a stated length of time. All four are included here for twelve months.

What revisions cost

In money, in rounds, or in time, and up to which point in the project. Ours are unlimited while design and development are under way and cost time rather than money, and that window closes when you sign the phase off.

Who owns the images

Ours are licensed to you for use on your website rather than sold to you, because they are generated or licensed from stock and full commercial ownership cannot be passed on. A quote that does not say which of the two you are getting has left out the part that only matters later, which is exactly when it is expensive to discover.

Whether the figure is before or after GST

Two numbers on two quotes are not the same number if one of them includes GST. Every figure on this page is before it.

Common questions

Website costs, answered plainly.

How much does a website cost in Singapore?

A one or two page brochure site is S$1,000, complete. A business site of roughly five to fifteen pages starts at S$5,000. An e-commerce build starts at S$10,000. Anything with requirements of its own is quoted against those requirements. All before GST, and all including the first year of hosting, the domain, business email and Website Care.

How much does an e-commerce website cost in Singapore?

From S$10,000, built on WordPress and WooCommerce, with no limit on how many pages or products. It starts higher than a business site because a store is different work rather than more of the same: catalogue, delivery, stock and payment all have to be decided, connected and tested. Allow at least three months.

What does it cost to maintain a website in Singapore?

S$200 a month for a brochure or business site and S$500 for a store, on Website Care. That covers WordPress and plugin updates, daily backups kept for 30 days, daily malware scans, uptime monitoring, hosting management and the paid plugin licences from our stack. The first twelve months are included in every build price.

How much is website hosting in Singapore?

With us, from S$120 a year for a brochure site, around S$240 for a business site, and from S$600 for a store, quoted on the size of the site and the traffic it takes. The first year is in the build price. A domain is about S$60 a year on top, including DNS management, though the exact figure follows the extension.

Why is a brochure site S$1,000 when it includes a year of Website Care?

Because the first year of care is included at no extra charge, and it is the same plan at the same scope that sells for S$200 a month on its own page. From the second year it renews at that price. That is the whole of it, and it is the reason the year two figure on this page matters more than the build price does.

Do your prices include GST?

No. Every figure on this page and in any quote we send is before GST, so it is directly comparable with another quote stated the same way.

When do I pay?

A brochure site is paid in full up front. A business or e-commerce build is staged in three parts: half at the start, 40% when design and development are signed off, and the last 10% at launch.

How long does a website take to build?

A brochure site is one to two weeks. A business site is at least two months. A store is at least three months, and how much longer depends mostly on how ready your product data, images and delivery decisions are when we start.
