Microsoft 365 Copilot pricing in Singapore: what it costs in 2026

If you have tried to find a straight answer on what Microsoft 365 Copilot costs a Singapore business, the answer is scattered across four of Microsoft’s own pages and a wall of plan names. Here it is in one place, taken directly from Microsoft’s Singapore compare-plans pages.

Prices checked 4 August 2026. Every figure below is in US dollars, because that is how Microsoft prices Singapore subscriptions, and every figure excludes GST.

The three ways to get Copilot

  • Copilot Chat, at no extra cost. Users on an eligible Microsoft 365 subscription with a Microsoft Entra work account already have a secure, web-grounded Copilot chat. If your team is on an eligible plan, you already have this, whether or not anyone has opened it.
  • Bundled into a business plan. Microsoft 365 Business Standard with Copilot is US$23.50 per user a month, and Business Premium with Copilot is US$32.00, both paid yearly.
  • As a paid add-on. The Microsoft 365 Copilot Business add-on for small business plans is listed at US$18.00 per user a month, marked down from US$21.00. The enterprise add-on is US$30.00.

Two variations worth knowing. Paying month to month on the same annual commitment costs more: US$28.20 for Standard with Copilot, US$38.40 for Premium with Copilot, US$25.20 for the Business add-on and US$31.50 for the enterprise add-on. And the plans without Teams are cheaper: US$20.30 for Standard with Copilot, US$28.80 for Premium with Copilot and US$5.40 for Business Basic.

The free tier is real, with limits

Copilot Chat comes at no additional cost with an eligible Microsoft 365 subscription and a Microsoft Entra account. It includes chat grounded in current web information, file uploads with limits, Copilot Pages and IT controls, with enterprise-grade privacy rather than what a consumer chatbot offers.

What the paid licence adds is Copilot working inside the documents themselves: drafting in Word, formulas and analysis in Excel, first-draft decks in PowerPoint, summaries in Outlook and Teams, plus pre-built agents such as Researcher and Analyst on the business add-on. The free tier answers questions, using the web and the files you hand it. The paid tier does some of the work where the work lives.

Standard and Premium now come with Copilot

A quiet change worth noticing: on Microsoft’s Singapore compare-plans pages today, Business Standard and Business Premium are only listed with Copilot included. Below the bundles sit Business Basic and Apps for business, which do not include it. If you are on an older plain Standard or Premium subscription, what happens to your price at renewal is a question to put to your provider before the plan auto-renews, not after.

What it comes to per seat, per year

Paid yearly and before GST: the Business add-on works out to US$216 per seat a year, Standard with Copilot to US$282, and Premium with Copilot to US$384. A ten-person team on Standard with Copilot is US$2,820 a year. If you are weighing Microsoft’s suite against Google’s, our Google Workspace pricing page does the same arithmetic for the other side. Copilot or not, that is real money for a small business, and the honest test is whether the hours it saves your specific team cover the bill.

Three things to check before you commit

  • The bill is in US dollars. What actually leaves your account depends on your card or bank’s exchange rate, so budget in Singapore dollars with a margin.
  • GST comes on top. Every price above excludes it, so add 9% when comparing against anything quoted inclusive.
  • The annual subscription renews itself, so put the renewal date somewhere you will see it. And Copilot is licensed per user, so nothing forces you to buy every seat at once. Start where the writing, spreadsheet and email load genuinely sits.

Should a small team pay for it?

Our advice to our own clients: switch on the free Copilot Chat first, since you may already be paying for it, and watch whether people use it without being told to. If it becomes part of how a few people work every day, trial the add-on on those seats and judge it on a month of real output. Buying it for the whole company on day one is how software ends up as shelfware.
